Got no friggin idea if that's some game mechanics saying "screw this driver in particular", just bad luck or something else
Well there are certain drivers with almost none and a high cof, and vice versa. We can't change anything about it anyways. The one season driver 1 has bad luck, the other season driver 2 has bad luck. In the end it should all even out, I think.:giggle:

Few dnfs with high cof and vice versa has happened pretty much every season.

Dnf streaks certainly are longer than the winning streaks we see. Aidan still holds the record with 4 in 1988.

Renault lock out front row
In a different order one might have expected though, as Martins beat his teammate to take his first pole since 1995 (!!!). Behind them in row 2 are the Minardis, Rinneaho having the edge over Goddard. Diehl but his BAR in 5th, alongside him is Jimmy Laad. Kederer starts 7th, his lap being only just faster than Sigoulakis'. Engberink and Lintner complete the top 10.

A champion is crowned
With his 7th win this season Mane Goddard decided the title fight, as teammate Rinneaho only finished in 8th position after a driving mistake in the first half of the race. It's the first title for the Argentinian, and also the first in history for Minardi. He was accompanied on the podium by Tim Engberink and Tobi Kederer.
The race started with what must've been the worst reaction times ever seen at a start: Martins and Utzer crawled off the line, after turn 1 they had dropped to 4th and 6th place. Rinneaho had taken the lead ahead of Goddard and Diehl. Engberink gained 4 places and was in 5th between the 2 Renaults. He went on to pass Martins and Diehl the next laps, and chased down the Minardis. Martins could somewhat settle in 5th, while Utzer continued to drop. First retirement of the day was Keranen, extending his series to 7 consecutive DNFs. At the front the top 3 pulled away, while Diehl succesfully kept Martins and Kederer behind for a while. The latter went on to pass the two though, before heading to the pits with electrical problems.
The scheduled stops began around the same time, with split strategies for the Minardis. Rinneaho on a 3 stopper came in a couple of laps earlier. Engberink followed him, having gone past Goddard he was right behind Rinneaho at that point. Coming out of the pits Rinneaho pushed too hard though, causing him to spin and lose a bunch of positions. Goddard got out just ahead of Engberink, which ruined the strategy for the Dutchman as he couldn't find a way past the Minardi. Black was up to 3rd, while Diehl was in 4th back. He had Kederer, Martins and Rinneaho right at his back. Harvey was 8th, another 10 seconds down the road.
With the 3 stoppers coming in for the 2nd time, Kederer got up to 2nd, over 20 seconds behind Goddard. Engberink dropped one place to 3rd. 2 stoppers Heymans and Graham were running 4th and 5th, followed by the Ferraris of Black and Buurlage, and Mishra. When Goddard pitted he again only just stayed ahead of Engberink. Black and Rinneaho were up to 3rd and 4th, Kederer in 5th, Diehl in 6th. Engberink and Black dropped to 3rd and 5th respectively after their last stops, while Rinneaho and Diehl dropped out of the points. Goddard had no attacks to worry about the last laps, having a gap of almost 30 seconds. Kederer was chased down by Engberink, and had to let him past with 5 laps to go. Heymans suffered a similar fate, he too couldn't hold on to 4th, as Black was lapping much faster on fresher tyres. Graham held on to 6th until the end. Mishra was 7th until 2 laps to the end, when he was passed by both Buurlage and Rinneaho.

FIA Press Conference
@Mane Goddard: Congratulations on winning the title? Things seemed to get tight after 3 consecutive dnfs, how does it feel now to come out on top?
@Timmieturner12: What were your thoughts when you came out behind Goddard, knowing that it was crucial for your strategy to be ahead of him?
@TTupsi: A rare mistake cost you your chances, and also ended an impressive run of only podium finishes so far this season. What's going through your head right now?
