Not far off, Sabine was what 10:08 from a standing start bridge to gantry with traffic..

With drag and weight reduction (which are not quantifiable, hence not including them in mine). Her first lap was a 10:23 I beleive, so in the ballpark. Looking forward to seeing what actual quick drivers can do

Yes just read with draft vehicle and weight removed so really you’re not far off at all!

Weight reduction was not that much, relative to the cerb weight.
I guess around 150Kg, including Hammond.
she did 10:22 before, and 10:08 afterwards. So not that much of a difference.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the clock in the middle of the dash should be just a little storage hole in the later transits that had a digital readout on the main speedo/Rev counter display?
A common mod was to add the clock but wire it to an outside temp sensor so you get an outside temp displayed on your dash..

I saw plenty of both in my ref images, I just went with the more interesting choice.

You could be right, its hard to tell as i don't have pics that show both together, just one at a time.

That’s how it seems to be on the ones I work on anyway, there’s a difference in the ecu’s..

I’ve been in a 04 and 05 one in last five mins and both had no central clock..!

Now seen also 3 2003 ones and they all have a central clock but no clock in speedo and analogue odo.

There we are, all fixed! Cheers for the info, I had no idea it was an age thing, thought it was just an option hence choosing the most interesting one.

It was indeed beautifully made and looked exactly like it does in a 2003 model, but if he’s shooting for realism it had to go!!
