This mod add more pit-stops to AI and player(including 5 lap races) and more strategical fight.
Included options:
Tyre wear multiplied x2.5, x3, x3.5, x4, x5, x6, x7 from normal(for 25-100% races), x8, x9, x10, x11, x12 for 5-lap races(modern cars) and x5, x10, x20 for classic cars(too small by default).
For 2 pits in 25% races recommended x3 or x3.5.
Any option affects to all weekend sessions and race distances.
Installation: copy tyrecompounds.erp to:
For modern
F1 2018\asset_groups\f1_2018_vehicle_package\tyrecompounds
For classic
F1 2018\asset_groups\f1_classic_02_vehicle_package\tyrecompounds.
If you want return to normal just copy included original file back or change to another modded variant.
Strategy selection menu before race not shows any changes and unavailable before 5 laps, but in fact tyre wear is bigger. Calculate the strategy yourself. It's best possibility for improvization in this game!
In career mode teams who improved tyre wear gets an advantage.
5-lap races:
Ultra tyre wear for pit-stops in 5-laps races for ai and player.
For 5-laps use x8-x12 (for classic x20), but someone can save pit and win.
(of course different tracks have different number of stops.)

It's gives unique quick strategic experience and more unexpected results.
If you do one-lap qualify, first 10 drivers starts with 30-50% tyre wear. Most profitable position in qualify is 11. Same like early Pirelli seasons when someone like Perez taken place on podium after bad qualify.
Note: Minimal tyre wear for puncture is 75%. There is a parameter in the car files which can be changed with help of Ego ERP Archiver if you want.
