Codemasters fixed AI straight line acceleration with patch 1.08, but nothing changed for automatic gearbox users, so this mod is still needed.
Increase difficulty to match modded AI pace.
Changed only "max baulk torque" for AI cars.
The mod does not work in qualifications and practices when you fast-forward(accelerate) time, because ai don't actually drive a lap, they simulate time based on vanilla characteristics. Flashbacks not affect to this.
Results of my tests of all versions(on 65 difficulty):
- Slowest - AI are 2 sec slower
- Slow - 1 sec
- Medium 1 - 0,5
- Medium 2 - 0,3
- Not works in Grand Prix mode with equal performance(works with realistic)
- Works in My Team, Career(including already started ones), Split-screen
- Included files for copypaste with default skins and Xml for manual installation if you use skin mods
- Works on game v.1.08
- For game version 1.05 click "History" button above and download Update 2 version.
Installation:
1.If you play with normal skins:
Then just open archive, open folder "Copypaste files" and copy "2022_asset_groups" folder into main game folder here: (your Steam folder)\steamapps\common\F1 22 . Click " yes " when asked about replacing files.
Do not delete anything before installation!
2.If you play with modded skins:
Then follow manual installation tutorial below
