We've all seen how crucial a safetycar can be for the outcome of a race.
This is a skin for the Assetto Garage Aston Martin GT4.

But actually it isn't.
This is just a reference for how this safetycar functionality can work on any car skin you chose.
All with a bit of tinkering with numbers; check the ext_config.ini and try it out yourself.
All thanks to the fantastic custom shaders patch

Nice to have another AM safety car skin, even if it's not the current model or lightbar used in F1.

The lights disappear after a short distance though, which is a significant problem with a safety car. As approaching cars might not see you in time to slow down and they can't tell whether the lights are on or off until right behind.

The lightbar is taken from a policecar with a bunch of edits and split to enable the lights to be placed on virtually any car skin you chose. It's more a Proof of Concept so i didnt want to have any issues with FIA licenses ;)

The lights disappearing has to do with the LOD's and sometimes needing to add them double to other mesh nodes when that's different in another LOD.

I'll look into making it into a Howto someday
