I reverted back to 1.7.15 and noticed the shimmering on the white rings in the dark steam room was pretty much gone.

Didnt see much difference on AC and raceroom was really blurry with shimmering also.

AC benefits a lot from the rollback, but I am on 250% SS, may be that impacts the experience.
I started digging into fix specifically because of how blurry distant objects have become in AC after recent updates.
BTW, regression with the latest versions of SteamVR is also confirmed by WMR engineer.

I'm on a Reverb with all latest Versions of various Software and can't say I've noticed any Blurriness in any of the games I've played.

Ok the best blurriness fix seems to be going into WMR beta.

The best framerate fix was steam 1.7.15.

Still quite alot of aliasing in AC but i guess i have to crack up the SS.

Interesting thing i noticed that rendertargetscale was gone in the beta.

ok got that Beta and sure enough the image is clearly crisper, but at the expense of 10fps, here's what's different with my Reverb:

Public - Video Settings 1971x1931 (100%)
Beta - Video Settings 2369x2323 (100%)

that'll be why then!

I tried that beta and the sim is amazingly clear with my Lenovo Explorer on a GTX1080Ti
I can actually see every granule in the left pit-exit wall at Spa. Its 'insane'.
Something else has changed in ACC. When viewing replays, the cars are not blurry.
