Windows 10 - constant updates?!?

Is it just me or is Windows 10 perpetually updating itself?!?

I swear, every time I turn on my computer, something is being pushed to me and it just crushes my disk performance.

I know, "first world problem" but, as someone who has a very limited time budget for sim racing, it's very, very frustrating to have to wait 15 minutes (sometimes even longer!) for some update or another to finish as my wheel time slowly melts away...

windows 10 active hours..
click on setting/update and security/change active hours.
set the time so it can only update out of your race time...

What annoys me more, everytime Win 10 updates, it recognises by G27 as a Driving Force Pro and I have to uninstall my driver and re-install it again just to have it recognised correctly In-Game.
Just wanted to have my gripe, return to normal now.

Yup, my son gets burned by that issue a lot, too.

Luckily, I'm on all Thrustmaster gear at this point myself - they don't seem to have the same problems.
