If HRT team will stop to exist and can't take part in the 2013 season what will happen? Two cars less on the grid? A new team that will replace them?
at least Vettel wont have to worry about backmarker party pooper Kartykeyam or however you spell his name. One less team on the grid for next year. (if they don´t show up next year)
Possibly a new team for 2014 but i would not get my hopes up.
Starting up an F1 team is no small task.
We all chip in and buy the team out.
We'll cut down costs by having forum members be the pit crew etc.
I really want the grid to be filled up. 26 cars!
Even though, more teams, means more fighting over money, it also means more drivers, more exposure, and I do think F1 is better off with 26 cars, than 20/22.
However i´d trade that spot for a manufacturer like Honda any day of the week.
Manufacturers pull out because it´s not the motorsport division of the company that runs the whole company.I don't really like manufacturer teams. They can chip in with engines, and support, but not own a team.
A F1-only team, tries it best to survive. Manufacturer teams pull out when they think that's the best economical choice.
