Week 1: Seriously Not Serious Club @ Monza Reverse

That's is based on Abdul's idea from here. I will update the first post with everyone's laptimes. Round 1 closes on Sunday:) The server is set with 7hours of qualies.

Server name: RACEDEPARTMENT SNSC
Password: usual club password.

Track: Monza Reverse
Cars: Cats 200

Basic rules: I picked the first track. Whoever is the fastest at the end of the week picks a car to run for the following week. And whoever finishes last picks the track for the following week.

Let's see how that goes before making it more formal :) :skywalker:

Yes, it works. It's case sensitive.. didn't know that..

EDIT:

Took a few laps and cat is fun to drive. Never driven mush of these but now i get a full week of training. Hope people will start to upload replays..

EDIT2: Oh yeah one more thing: The slowest time must be in certain limits, 10% or someting from the best time. Then the obvious cheatin is solved and you get the change to start aiming for that time just to get the "Track Master" title.. Precision drivng..

i still dont understand what this is about: the account login thing. sorry but i still dont understand.

anyway my first lap time on lap 4(previous laps banned by acc. track cutting)
is 2:06.312

is this on9???

I'm surprised that my laptime of 2:09.654 is allowed. My replay clearly shows all four wheel off the track several times, something I hope to do better at in the future, while going faster of course!

Do you really think anyone will be reviewing all the replays? It is a gentlemen game. If someone wants to cheat nothing we can do about it.

I didn't expect anyone to look a replays. I wasn't happy with the lap but only saw the faults after I had completed it. It was history, posted and nothing I could do.

I just completed another session and a faster lap that without even looking at a replay I though was clean.

When I see my self cutting now, I just finish the lap slowly so it doesn't become my fastest!

I know I don't have to but I ran a totally default car!
Thanks Eric and Abdul for getting this going.

Eric, when you say the last one picks the track, you mean the last one??? :D I think it's gonna be hard to beat 3:16.592. But that I ask you: how about changing the rule to whoever is closer to 3% from the 1st place, but yet below 10% picks the track??? Just a suggestion... :)

Clearly 3:16 is a fake last... it should not count IMO... (so it wont :rotfl:)

I wa sin the sevrer when he did his lap. He was really struggling with the car. I don't think it's a fake, but if he doesn't completet another lap, it's gonna be a problem. I think he gave up after his 1st try, but the lap time is recorded now. :)

Think about the % rule, ok. You can make it 5, 10 or even 20% if you want, but it's an easier way to solve this issue being 100% impartial. :)
