Now the V-WTCC site is closed for public and the videos on the site are no longer available for download I decided to upload them all to our youtube channel and post them here in a thread so they are stored for later.
For those that are not familiar with the V-WTCC. Yoeri Gijsen and I organised this world championship last year for SimBin/Eurosport.
It was a global competition where every driver in the world that had RACE 07 / GTR Evolution installed, could compete on the v-wtcc leaderboards by setting the fastest laptimes, after which the top drivers did a shootout during an online race, and only the world's best drivers managed to qualify for those events. The winners of the online races were invited to the real WTCC tracks in Europe where they fought harsh battle onsite to try and qualify for the big final in Monza, Italy where the world champion would be crowned and became owner of a brand new car: the Chevrolet HHR.
On the 6th of october 2008 Roland Ehnström from Sweden managed to grab the title with Bastien Bartsch from France and Markus Könönen from Finland joined him on the podium.
