Sell [USA-LA] eRacing Labs RS MEGA+ | 4x SFX-150 | Thanos AMC-AASD15A | Plug-N-Play Kit (~85 Hours Usage)

Hey there!

I'm honestly writing this post with a heavy heart, since I absolutely love this actuator kit and it's been a dream come true for me, having never had a motion rig before, let alone one this high quality. I waited almost 3 months (ordered in March) for the kit to arrive from eRacing Labs, and I've had an absolute blast with it since then. The 150mm travel distance on these is just crazy awesome, and the build quality is pretty hard to match for the relative convenience to install and use. Shoutout to eRacing Labs for making such an awesome kit!

I'm trying to part ways with them due to unforeseen financial circumstances and these are simply an ultra luxury that just don't make sense to keep around at the moment, especially considering I haven't had as much time as I'd originally hoped to use them, and it would help me out a bit if I can find the right home for them.

In terms of condition, everything is essentially still brand new as I dust everything and re-torque all of the nuts and bolts on a semi-daily basis, regardless of whether it’s being used that day or not. Not to mention the actuators and drivers realistically only have about 85 hours of use in them (according to AC/AMS2 usage in Steam), which is practically nothing in comparison to the total lifespan.

Here's eRacing's listing for the kit. Everything that's in the BLACK (with Thanos AMC-AASD15A) dropdown option is what is included in this sale, as seen below from that page:

  • Thanos AMC-AASD15A controller in full metal enclosure (supports 7 channels)
  • 4 x Actuators 150mm in full Aluminium body
  • 4 x AASD-15A V6.3.1 servo drivers (in white)
  • Aluminum Mounting Plates with nuts and bolts
  • Ultra high quality shielded cables for motors (4 meters)
  • E-Stop in compact and light weight aluminum housing
On top of that there's all of the setup steps that I have already done that will essentially make this kit completely plug-n-play.
  • Assembly of the motors/couplers to the aluminum bodies with proper sub-mm tolerances
  • All of the driver and Thanos settings have been dialed in to spec according to eRacing Labs documentation
  • 20+ hours of SimTools tweaking; I'll send you all of the settings that I've found to produce the best results with Assetto Corsa, Automobilista 2, and iRacing (Results may vary depending on actuator placement on your rig)
  • Furniture pads for easier movement of your rig on hard floors (If that's something you need like me)
  • Sorbothane vibration pads to significantly reduce/eliminate noise for anyone one floor below
My total asking price for the kit is $3300 including shipping (only within the United States), which in my view is cheaper than what you’d have to pay from eRacing Labs (if you value your personal labor & time) since shipping to the US is around $700 on top of the base kit price being $2400, plus 1-3 months handling time.

When shipping I will use PayPal Goods & Services to request payment, purchase shipping & tracking, and general order status. I'll take detailed timestamped pictures along the entire packaging/shipping process to ensure the protection of both parties. Shipping will be via FedEx 2-Day (Signature Required).

If you happen to live in Los Angeles and want to pick everything up locally I’ll knock the price down to $3100 (Cash or Zelle only)

For the amount of time and personal labor that you’ll save, this is a pretty great bargain; of which I’m pretty firm on.

If you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to reach out as I’d be more than happy to respond!

Ah, I am so sorry! Someone I've been chatting with the past couple of days on the iRacing forums literally just sent the payment to have them shipped! Too bad, because it would have been more convenient to do a pick up haha

Awesome, for them, haha. I snooze I loose. Have a good one and thanks for the quick response.

BTW wanted to ask, since everything is 220v what did you use for conversion here in the US for 120v?
You can actually change the drivers to work on 120v! Really wish this info was more obvious to find, I ended coming across this video to figure it out:

120v is plenty anyway since the motors will never need to actually use their peak torque, and I've personally never experienced any problems at all with it! Not to mention it helps reduce driver whine that some people have complained about. Win-win in my book!
