Update 0.8 has landed

Hey guys the update just landed . besides some good fixes and optimisations they have given us 2, yes 2 new cars..
The lotus Exige 240R and (the one we all was waiting for ) the Ferrari 312T

After disableing all 3rd party apps I got my FPS back, before I had lost about 30FPS with the 0.8 Updateregardless of any tweaks I tried. Especially Rivali, RSR and Mini apps seemed to be the culprits.
Racing against the Ai is now really, really good. The frustration of getting hit and bumped of the track is almost gone, just had 2 races with the BMWE30 at Mugello (hard) that turned out very well, never got hit and the racing was clean. Still some minor problems, have to test it with other cars and other tracks, but a remakable step forward.
The Lauda Ferrari is AWESOME!

It runs great on my system, no issues but, I'm not running any 3rd-party apps. The Ferrari is really fun, the engine sound is nicely done too. The AI seem better but, slower overall - at least no getting caught in the middle of multiple cars. I even had good starts where I was able to race door to door for position in the first couple corners.

where is this setting please?

If you are in car move the mouse to the right side of the screen and the app menue appears. then chose disable all apps

The sound is going to be a weak point until at least V1.0 and probably for a while after...this has been stated repeatedly and as often as today by the devs...

@gerard27 go play Gran tourism 5 for an hour. Then come back to assetto corsa and you will magically have an impressive sound upgrade lol!

I agree. It can be driven in a very agressive but controled way. Really enjoyable ride to "hell"!

I get surround sound...it's great as I'm passing others hearing the cars in m rear speakers
