Simply take what Content Manager did and try to improve upon it. In my humble opinion as a UX Designer CM has pretty much a perfect UI for a simulation.

Add a "Big Screen" kind of mode like Steam does if you want to give newbies a more "welcoming" approach to get into AC2.

@Bram Hengeveld, do you think it's worth doing a poll to see which game people think has the best UI for Kunos to take inspiration from? I think it's still Project Cars 2 for me.
