DiRT Rally Tutorial? Anywhere?

Hi I'm just wondering if there is a tutorial how to edit the damage in Dirt Rally every time I edit it in the 'raceload.jpk' game loads, I click career, it loads then I click resume my track starts to load but on loading the track it crashes.

Is their a tool I need to use to get it to work?

Ive tried multiple times even just editing the general part of the file (minCollisionAccToCauseDamage="0.10000") I go down add edit every single entry it crashes I just edit the first one game crashes

Thanks for the reply but he hasn't been on in over 3 weeks so if anyone else could help out that would be great I've left a message with the author of Hardcore Damage mod

Edit with notepad++ works for me
