The Silly Season

Lewis Hamilton to Aston Martin as Lawrence Stroll makes big AMF1 team presence at Met Gala and other fashion industry things. Bonus for the mega-entertainment circus is to rekindle rivalry with Fernando Alonso, however now they are grown up they will actually have a mega season of clean racing against each other.

Fl turns down the Ferrari and Honda engine boosts, Toto brings some extra Merc staff and Aston Martin get the constructors title.

Someone new will win their first drivers title, similar to 2007 maybe LEC, then the next 3 years will be 3 more different drivers to take the WDC... ok maybe that's too silly.

As Murray Walker said nothing is predictable in F1. People treat the sport like it is predictable. And for the most part it is. I have been watching the W series and it is spec as they all run same car and a Toyota engine. Jamie Chadwick won all races bar Hungary that Alice Powell won that race. Jamie came 2nd. Spec racing is not the answer. Tallent and skill will always win as long as your are in the right chassis. And if youre in a bad car there is a problem with your management. But this is how life goes. We dont always get the shots and the tools. Sometimes the idiot gets promoted. That is life live with it.

How is it possible that watching (again) any race when Rindt or
Senna were there simply *cannot make you fall asleep* ??!
You might consider to compare how much FIA and some silly
rules there are today - and mostly "how little effort you do to
overtake a car"
Finally, add that most of the people that write the rules or stand
along the race track *never got in a racecar * (let alone an F1 or
what's is called as such today)
Tires comedy is a joke and 'they' talk of money saving... meh...

Sad for Daniel Ricciardo; perhaps missing Bahrain preseason test caused McLaren to kick off revisions based on only Lando's inputs, putting a double whammy to Daniel's early season.
