Release Date

Hmm just fired up Steam and got the Pre-Purchase TDU2 pop-up and the release date is Nov 2010, I understood this had been put back to Q1 or around March time, bring it on if it's Nov cos NFS HP is a bit of a let down.

That's the understatement of the year

. Just read on that Steam page that there is 600km of new road on Oahu. New road, as in added to the original 1500km, or whatever it was. That update alone is 4 times longer than the roads in NFS HP.

IIRC it was originally due for a November release so maybe Steam just haven't updated the page or maybe we're gonna be lucky and it will be out this month.

I think it's just a mistake on Steam's part, there is the article on the TDU2 site saying it has been put back to Q1, some of the pre-order links from the TDU2 site still show 21st September which is obviously long gone.

at the end of the movie / trailer is says coming Fall 2010.

No porsches in the game at all, EA have the contorl over them. RUF's are in the game though, confirmed. And they are basically porsches!

So far, we know small mods are possible, for example the pictures in your house, but as for cars and environments, only time will tell!

LOL Bram. But I kinda agree, I want more normal cars, just cruising around in a Hyundai Accent or something

. Every other game has Porsches and Ferraris and Zondas.

'Normal' car-wise, we have things so far like, Audi A3, Alfa MiTo, erm.. an others that i can't remember, i guarentee there will be many 'normal' cars though

yeah news page updated yesterday http://www.testdriveunlimited2.com/node/316, I really wanted this one for Xmas but I think it says a lot that they're not prepared to rush it out in time for Xmas and that they trust the communities Beta testers (of which I'm one) more than most companies seem to.
