Synchronizing game

Hi all
If i am in a game i always get on top screen synchronizing game
If i join a game and qualy they always call me cheater because i have faster times
How is it possible?
Am i cheating that im not aware of?
Can someone help me?
Im a fair player and do not want to be cheater!!!!

Okay, try to put the processor/video card on high performance. There should be a setting in the taskbar that you can adjust to high performance.

Is your CPU overclocked?


If not, are you sure its clock settings are correct in the BIOS? (multiplier)

it was good for a day and tryed it tonight
same old story again

Once you close the game or restart your PC, the process will no longer be there. You must manually set the process to High each time.

I had a problem with another game several years ago and I used the following as a shortcut on my desktop:

C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c start /high "c:\gamedir\game.exe"

This started the game in High mode each time. Not sure if it will work with Steam though, I'm not in front of my Games PC to check. Worth a try though.

Not sure if this will be any help, but I also have had this online syncronization problem.
None of the suggestions made any difference (v-sync, GPU and motherboard settings etc) it was also nothing to do with the router as I loaded the Race on Demo on a laptop running through the same router and there were no problems online.

My cure was to load a fresh version of windows on my PC (actually changed to windows 7 from XP) and everthing appears to be OK now.

I also had this problem and re-installed my pc (Vista to 7) but it wasn't the solution for me. After the re-install the problem was still alive. Maybe there where some programs running in the background that causes the problem?

In windows taskmanager
It says above: view
If i press that it says: update speed
First i press normal and than press high
I do that and it helps to run race on good!
It`s fine by me to do so
I`m happy to play the game normal again
