ive been using it for donkeys and continue to reference it to this day. thought it might be of use to some of you. because of its age i presume some people will already be familiar with from gtr2 days others maybe not.

This setup guide was originally written for GTR2 but the principals hold true for any sim really. It guides you through a uniform step by step process of setting up a car for a particular track as well as providing a detailed description of the the reasons for specific changes rather than just the effects of changes.

It is an Excel Document so it is possible to make notes as you go or as I have done save your setup information outside the game. (just in case, you never know).

It is translated fully into the following languages:

English
Francais
Español
Italiano
Deutsch

Unfortunately no Dutch which would be handy around here.

I have PDF versions of the files which i will upload if people would prefer them.

I would like to share some links that I've used to educate myself with to better understand setups. I think they add lots to the existing document here at RD. Even though they can be written with special car/racing in mind most of the theory/information is cross-usable with other cars. The F1 perspective is particularly useful for F3000 in Race 07 for example. Different perspectives also provides a broader understanding that I find very useful. I have read a whole bunch of other stuff but these links are my golden links. Hope you like them.
