Q: 5th
OK lap, but not the best i could for sure. I expect it because i practice more stints than Q this time.
R: 4th
That's my payback for practicing stints
I went for a 1 stopper, only reason was to cut in half the chance of a mess up in pits, as i don't often practice pit stops. Maybe 2 stops would've been a better choice though....
Had a good start, was able to pass Vince to get in 4th place, but little touch with Peter in T3 and Tim was able to get by me. So back in 5th. The gap was increasing about the same amount in front (Tim) and behind me (jim). It was clear that Jim was on 1 stop too, but i had doubts about Tim. Gap was about 10 sec each side when the 2 stoppers start to pit. I was happy to see Tim was one of them, i thought: i have a chance at 3rd place. Found myself 1st for a few laps, until David's decide that spot belongs to him
But anyway it was time for me to pit hehe
Not much happen after that, i try to reduce small mistakes the more possible to make it hard for Sean and Tim to pass me back after their 2nd stop. But i really succeed in failing to that task lol. Had no treat from Jim behind, he was like 15 sec. so i just kept the car on track to the end.
Thanks to all the PrestoGP oganization, Nico, Daniel (i love dry races
), and all precious members. Hopefully i'll join a few more races this season.
Always a great pleasure to race with you guys.
