Yes, you must own all of the cars in order to take part in this event. This is a requirement of rFactor 2 for online races.

No, there shall be a standing start for this race due to the length of the circuit. Unfortunately there is not really an option to only do a partial formation lap in rFactor 2; the "fast rolling" start is the closest that you would get to this, but it does not work very well - it has been known to cause issues and accidents at the start of the race.
