F1 2010 Rivals ??

Hi, I'm new to this forum and i'm just wondering how this whole rivalry thing works. I'm currently in my first season of seven driving for Virgin Racing. I'm at the Hockenheim round and still no rivalry against anyone. Can someone please help me figure out how it all works ?

What do you mean with rivalry exactly? Between who?

You chose your rival in a press conference. No idea when you'll get the option though. Basicly, if you beat them throughout the season then their team are more liekly to offer you a contract.

I got it after P1 in Hungary, so it is variable, but I have heard most people say they got the question at Spa.
