rFactor2 'Error setting video mode.'

Hi. Yesterday, I connected my pc to 'Monitor A' which is on my desk to make a new skin and test it in rfactor2. I could launch the game as usual. However when I connected the pc to 'Monitor B' which is on my simrig, rfactor2 launcher does work but the game itself says 'Error setting video mode' and doesn't seem to start. I have literally changed nothing other than monitor. Help me!
