Rfactor 2 engine sound problem

I dowloaded the A&M f12018 mod, the engine sound of some cars in this mod are small but for the others are fine. How could I fix it?

The mod needs to update its sound samples to work with the new sound engine that was released several months ago. If some cars are fine and others are not, that makes a fix harder to discover. Change the legacy sound sliders to see if that helps any.
