Hi all,

What do you think of the following idea:

To make the Racedepartment community alive and recognizable in the online GT5 game we all should ad a tag in front of our PS3 name. For example: My name is Hugo Hekkenberg. My PS3 tag now is TurboHuug. My PS3 Tag should become

-RD-TurboHuug

What do you think of this and are you willing to give up your current name for the new tag?

In fact you can, just go to your prefered profile (probably the one you're currently using) press triangle and you'll get an option to change your profile pic and adjust your name. You don't have to create a new user profile

But how do you change the online name?

For the RD Club, do you have to have RD in front of your name? Don't want to make a new account just for club races....

Hey Ross.

You don't have to create a new useraccount. Simply go to user in your PS3 menu, select the account you're currently using, press triangle and simply change your name.

I might pop along for a few GT5 race meets, if we can get them up and running.

Like some others though, it will be with my existing gamertag.

Same with me, I don't want 2 GT5 accounts, one to race my friends and one to race on RD.

I bit the bullet and created a new RD gamertag for my PS3. It was painless, lol. Count me if for sime club GT5 races.

Seems not. There aren't any official RD events going on, and I can't get an answer as to whether we are allowed to post our own or not. There's a few GT5 communities running events and leagues if you're interested. You can find the links on the official GT5 forums.
