I'm considering buying Race On & I was wondering if Simbin have activated / fixed dynamic shadows when in the cockpit view, as these were absent in Evo. I remember trying to tweak it in Evo by changing tree shadow properties in track files to dynamic, but iirc it caused gfx corruption on the cockpit models ( this was not long after Evo's release so I can't remember what happened exactly... its been a while )
I know it's a small thing, but it breaks the illusion slightly when your eyes see a shadow on the track ahead, but the cockpit doesn't darken when you drive through it. Detaches you from the 'world' a little bit...
Anyway, if there's any tweaks I can do to fix / enable these I'm all ears
