Kederer wins the Japanese Grand Prix after a hard-fought battle against Keranen and Sigoulakis. As Laad finished down at 7th, Kederer gained a massive advantage at the title battle coming into the final race of the season.

Pole-sitter Laad stalled his car at the start and dropped to the last place. It was Wolf who took the early lead ahead of Engberink as the race was looking very promising for Honk Racing. Then Utzer made contact with Engberink as they battled for 2nd. It did not damage their cars seriously, but both spun and dropped back. Kederer was chasing down Keranen for 4th before that collision.

Wolf could not open a leading gap to protect himself as Keranen, Kederer and Sigoulakis overtook him one-by-one. Sigoulakis past Kederer entering into the final 7 laps, but he missed an apex trying to overtake Keranen and dropped behind Kederer. In the penultimate lap, Kederer made a fantastic attack on Keranen at the least expected curve of the track to gain the lead. He held his position strong afterwards till the finish. Three cars were seperated by only 1 second when they crossed the finish line.

Haasn't had a terrible pace at this race as their car did not suit the track. Engberink and Utzer recovered well from their contact and completed the top 6 behind Wolf. Laad also recovered massively as he made overtakings on 5 cars. They nearly collided when he took Lutz's 7th position.

Now Kederer leads the championship with a 24 points gap. Laad needs miracles in the final endurance race to get the title.

For 3rd, there is a close battle between Lutz and Laskey.

For 5th, there is a 3-way battle between Sigoulakis, Keranen and Utzer as only 5 points seperate them.

Pegasus has already got the constructor's title. Haasn't is far away from Ferrari's 2nd place. But there is a close battle for 3rd as Online Racing is very close.
