Scared the ?*!% out of me... I thought you were trying to go underneath the car on your outside and since both of you were going through the final turn kinda slow, I thought I could sneak in under both of you. Imagine my surprise as I was just about to fly by underneath and I see your car turning hard right for the pits. Our contact gave me minor suspension damage, but I am sure it was nothing compared to the mayhem your car received. Not to fret, as our incident was one of the minor ones I encountered in Race 1 (not to mention having nudged Kevin off track twice -- all within one lap of each other). Later I got collected by 2 cars bouncing around at pit entrance that caused me to have to limp around the whole track to replace a punctured RF -- still managed to pull off a 9th even though the car was about 1.5 - 2 seconds off my pace.

Glad to see you back on track...

Race 1:
<snip> about half way through lap 8ish i ask to pit while looking back and no one behind me stupid me i failed to look back again b4 the last turn and did not realize someone had caught up i slowed to make pit entry right in front of them and caused a wreck. Car even more messed up i pressed on and ended up placing p7.

  1. Forced cockpit view - off
  2. auto gears - on
  3. Racingtime - The winner of the last event decides
  4. track choice - The winner of the last event decides
What do you think of this?????

I don't think letting the winner choose the next track/time is a good idea. There are certain drivers which are very good and win far more often than anyone else. Those with little or no chance of winning may feel its a tad unfair. Best leave the decisions to the race director, in my opinion.

But to be honest, I don't think that track choice is a problem anyway. In the last three weeks we've had a fast, fairly 'easy' track, a slightly more difficult open track, and a tight street track. So, I think you've done a good job with the tracks so far. Variety is a good thing and prevents the events getting stale. Repetition or sticking to a certain track type all the time would likely put people off rather than attract them.

As for the driving options, I don't know. I don't like the idea of auto gears or external views, but if it increases attendance then I guess it would be worth a try.

Maybe we just have to accept that people aren't keen on Minis. A shame, yes, but I'd rather have an 8-10 person event to attend each week than no event at all.

Highlight of the race for me was sitting in pole position for race two and not being able to resist the ole classic" i can't see anyone in front of me"..... it just doesn't get old .......sorry Eric had to do it,you got me back 3 laps later though aye.....joking.
