ATTENTION!

When I tryed to make a simple pit stop preset I wasn't able to check the 4 tyres to get changed in a stop! All other stuff like fuel and repairs were changeable. This would mean I have to make the tyre change manually for all tyres before each stop (A littel bit dangerous on the short straihgt).

Am I the only one who has that problem (bug?).

Just in case it's a bug for everyone I made the red attention sign, so everyone is aware to change tyres manually before each stop....

Yeah, I had the same problem - even changing the text file (set tyre values from 0 to 1) in Race07's document folders didn't work out.
In case anyone gets it working, an upload of your "PRESET_FVR_V8SC.ppf" in "Documents\SimBin\RACE 07\UserData\PitMenuPresets" would be appreciated, maybe this'll work :)

Nah, the auto pit's off since a long time :D

Not that much of an issue, anyway - the back straight should give us plenty of time to enable the tyre changes. Fuel would've been more dramatic ;)

nah it alsways have worked fine for me with a newly installed mod, my guess its something in their options that is not set like us or they have something installed that conflict and causing the problem.

No other car mods over here.

Anyway, it seems like I got it working now, though I'm not exactly sure why.. what I did was pretty much exactly what I already tried earlier - setting up the values in the ppf file mentioned above manually - "marked = 1" for each wheel entry. However, I did this with the game not started up, unlike the first tries (I figured if setups aren't a problem, this wouldn't be either.. well.. :D)
Fun part: I cannot de-select the tyres for that preset anymore, now - but that's alright ;)

Well that was fun. Thank you for organising this. Hopefully we can do some more V8 races.

Qualifying went well but still can't get over the fast guys pace.

Race well I forgot to change to race setup. Not sure if it would have done anything to tyre wear. But the rear end was on ice after 5 laps. Had lots of fun until a hit on the barrels at the chicane ended the race for me.

Big shame but great fun.

Thank you all and hope to do some racing next week
