Thanks to all for driving North to fill the grid on this beautiful track!

I had some good speed in P1, probably due to all my prep for the Monday race that never happened. I just kept working on the car keeping the changes that worked and dumping the losers. Thanks to Nelson for a bit of gearing chance! All the work put me in a position. I didn't want to run a hard race or have a lot of pressure so for Quali I drove a race lap instead of a fastest lap and I thought that would work out well.

It worked out well indeed until T1 when Blaz's lightly loaded rear let loose and took a couple of us for a ride. No problem, minor suspension damage and I'm still able to maintain my expected race pace Blaz has a pace a tiny bit quicker than mine so I just keep pumping out laps as I watch his rear wriggling down the track. Once I took a bite out of the inside of T1 and it bit back hard but just lost time and no further damage. No repairs on the pitstop and a good feeling car, I'm in for the ride. Blaz has been opting to test the curbs and I have almost caught him swerve by swerve! In the end my tires were slowing me more then he was making mistakes and HE GOT A WAY

@Arne Dopudja ,
From an earlier post in the forum:
Something like this?
RD mini friday W9.xlsx

There is nobody holding you back to update the file every week.
Just fill in the results every week and it calculates the results.

it adds up the 4 best out of 5 last races. Every week you have to delete the results from 5th week and fill in the new results and sort the points from high to low.

Great race guys.

My race well well hmmmm not the best.

I love the track great fun. Still learning how to set up one of these cars. Had a few issues getting the front to feel like it wanted to turn in.

Well I screwed up my qualifying lap, which put me down the back.

Race well my troubles started as I pressed race.

I has my foot on the throttle and put it into first, jumped the start. Drive through. Then I got caught up in a first corner smash. Went to serve my drive through and got another one for speeding.

Out on the track all was ok until the next pit stop (normal) which I got done for speeding again :D

Not my best day racing but was fun anyway. It looks like I am following Daniel Ricardo ;)

Look forward to Thursday and Friday

Say @Dennis Phelan, just wondering ... What's been the recent history of turn-out for these Wednesday races?
I notice on the calendar that Race 07 is the only game on RD to have a club race every day of the week (barring weekends of course)
Perhaps if Wednesdays have been too dead recently it might take some workload off of you to drop Wednesday club races? ... Possibly it might also increase grid-interest in the rest of the days?
Just a few thoughts
:D
