I enjoyed a lot this track ... good battles in the first half of the race but after my pit i got my self driving alone and got a suspension damaged ... did pit again .... but my focus was lost and with only 9 minutes left to the end i got a damaged not repairable in the same corner:geek: ... congrats to all who finished ...

Good track choice Chris! I hope you get better from your pain;)

I understand the reaction, this track is really tough. Those slow corners = massive understeer, and when tires start degrading, oh boy, it gets crazy, but a good track. Just because it is tough doesn't mean I should hate it. :D

Finished 2nd behind Leonardo, who was just unstoppable today. Congrats mate. Me and him, surprisingly, had more grip than everyone else. No, we did not have extra sticky tires! Or did we?! :sneaky: Thanks for everyone who showed up.

I am satisfied that I was able to finish the full 80 minutes of the race, even though i got clipped in the back within the last 20 laps I believe, and as a result, I manged to gain a few spots and finished the race with a suspension problem, but thats racing for ya;). I ended up placing sixth (not bad). At the start of the race I got distracted (big big NO NO). So I got a slow start at the green flag, but at the first corner, I was able to gather up a few spots (clean), up until I clipped someone in the back and spun them around (My apologies to that driver, please forgive me). I felt horrible for that careless mistake of mine. I let my frustration get the best of me - which I will NOT allow to happen next race!!! Other than the first incident I mentioned above, I had a clean, fun and a challenging race. Yes The track has very little grip, but with the right setup (for you) assisted by a solid pit stop strategy, you should be fine on the track. However, the guys up front were ridiculously FAST. Congrats to everyone who finished. Good racing everyone!

as a rookie sim racing driver, I am learning and growing:thumbsup:

A good race on an otherwise pretty awful track. Started 13th and had some great close racing all the way up until the pitstops, ducked in a lap before the 2 chaps I was racing and, seeing I had 26.3l left in the tank opted to just change all 4 tyres.

When everything had settled down I was somehow in 3rd place. Vadim caught up and we had a good battle, swapping places 3 or 4 times before he fell back with a problem. Let Leonardo lap me on the last corner just to be safe with the fuel, and finished with 1.25l (Would have been 0.16l had I done that extra lap, according to XD.)

And sincere apologies to the fellow I tapped when lapping, I thought you were staying wide to let me through on the inside, and was fully open when you took your line on the exit.

Very tough, 16 starters and only 8 finish. I could manage my normal pace here, slow by anyone's standard but I knew I could finish and while it's a horrible track, we're racers and it was an 80 minute race. We just don't get those races everyday!

Started last and tried to stay there for a lap and then went to race pace. I saw Wayne behind me, some 20 sec, instead of Dave and tracked him as he got closer. Very slowly he crept up to me. He pitted about L22 and I pitted a few later, we ended up about the same position. While tires were good I just tried to not make too many mistakes and I could tell he was working at that too as the time diff would decrease then increase but slowly he was creeping towards me. All this time Dave Bevans is about 5 seconds ahead but a lap down and I can't catch him. Mistakes and everyone slowly making their way a lap past us keeps the time diff tumbling and it's tough to figure what the outcome is going to be. At some point here, Leo[?] comes up to lap me for the second time, his car is same color as Wayne's and he had to bump me out of the way, SORRY!, I clearly did not get a "Please Yield" or my brain had shut it out due to what was happening in my race. Anyhow, Wayne finally gets by as our tires get to the "sorry no grip for you now: point" and in the final laps I lose the place for good.

I watched some of the drivers in Qualifying. Most were very good, well done to you. I watched several drivers cutting most all of the corners, I mean all four wheels off the track, one "racer" did his entire lap cutting every corner. I can't see pursuing it as the can was open, tipped over and all the worms came out. This track has been run before by RD and no special rules were applied. Sorry. Oh yeah, I still love ya all!
