dry race?

on the tyres front it will be personal preference but id suggest your realistic options for getting most benefit would depend on your driving style. id go for 2 outsides (lefts at donnington) or as you say your drive wheels. although with good work on the throttle theres no reason you cant be competetive and keep those in good nick even over 28 laps.

Daniel; it's slower to change four than two; this came in in the most recent patch.

As for tyres; yup; you'll have to manage them :). In a FWD car you'd probably change the fronts obviously, the rears shouldn't become an issue; in a RWD car you'd change the rears, though you'll need to manage the fronts a bit more than usual. You can change one side (the left, at donington) as well; up to you whether you can pull that off.

All these new skills to learn, eh? :)

Anyone know what Car it will be ?
It says Qualification 2hrs / 2 Rounds so does that mean 4hrs in total ?

ah ha... you'll find out the car when you join the server - it'll be randomly selected just before the server is opened.... the whole point of this being "cold" is that yer meant to turn up with no idea what or where you're running...

for this first one (and the next couple, if this is a success) lee has persuaded me to select the tracks a coupla days before the event... later on you won't know this either

also - each round should last about an hour - depending on participants - but working roughly on 2min laps and 25 people, with changeover time... the 2hrs is to ensure we have the max amount of time, in case something untoward happened...
