  • Morgan Sowerby

Race went very well for me, I had to break to avoid some turn one problems and then for the first six laps Morgan, Rafael, and I had some close and fun racing. I finally managed to sneak by Morgan after taking 3 turns side by side and then drove my race from there. The one pit stop decision was risky as my tires were gone after 12 laps but it paid off. I had a lot of fun. Sorry Morgan for the tiny bump in the second half, I was hoping you saw me on the inside, but I am glad it didn't send you off the track.
Cheers guys - see you next time.l:wave:

That was some good close racing. I couldn't get you out of my mirrors! On the second time you passed me, I did see you and tried to leave you some room. It was cool going side by side through the turns. I knew I didn't have too much though, as my tires also gave out around every 12 laps or so.

Can't wait til next Sunday!

The Vectra might be the odd one out in terms of fuel tank size; but the point I wanted to make was that if you do refuel, you will find yourself disadvantaged because that's simply how the pitstops work.
...
If it turns out that the distance is too long for all WTCC cars (I can't check myself at the moment, typing from work), then we'll either shorten the race distance slightly or disable fuel use. If it's just the Vectra then that's just unfortunate I'm afraid.
So, how much fuel should you put in one of the "normal" WTCC cars if you want to go the distance without refueling?

Kind regards,
Karl
