Well guys I have to miss a Friday event. Daughter going to a night time birthday party and we have a couple of hours free! So I consented to going out for a couple of drinks with friends and the Mrs.

Can;t believe I'll miss the LAguna Seca event! been looking forward to this for quite some time!

Have fun boys, I'll see you next time.

@Bob

VERY IMPORTANT!!!

You have to confirm the golden rules if you sign up for this event. The sign up format is:

Drivername: your name
I understand the Golden rules: YES

If the racing staff don't see this in your sign up request, you won't see your name in the sign up list!

I'm sorry I had a bug between race 1 and 2

Therefore I could not return to the server... Bug.jpg

I congratulate all the same all players who participated ...

Thanks Martin, this saves me having to put into writing what you have done a fine job of showing in video. One thing I have to add about race 2 that you where not able to show, is my profound relief that I did not take out Jesper or Glen, when, to my disbelief, I spun back up onto the high bank as I was coming down into the pit entrance.

Perhaps one additional point of explanation, I decided to try the no-pit strategy for race 2, but it is very hard to have a "slow race," and around lap 25, thinking I had enough fuel in hand, I broke ranks with Vincent to my eventual demise.

Race 1) I started on the one stop strategy, I think the rolling start worked very well and really enjoyed the all-out racing, finished 6th.

Congrates to Vincent on a brilliant race strategy that was well executed, not once, but twice! Also well done to Glen, Keith and Jesper on their top finishes . And thanks for the event Eric and RD, ( and Willy ) and to every one who showed up for the race.

Had a monster time racing here.

I had prepped a ncie race report but the Mrs. somehow cleared the RD page and lost it all...........

So here's thejist of it for me.

R1 got a massive start and built up a big 3.5 second lead early. PIt on lap 8 and Jesper starts to track me down. We get sid eby side on lap 13 in T1 woth Jesper making a beauty of an outside pass. Must trust me quite a bit from the GT PRO event here not to stuff him.....he he he

He pulls away and I am P2 at conclusion. I LIKE IT!

R2 I GET another good start and work up to 5th behind BRandon. BRanodon is defensive and a bit scary at times so I leave him some room for now. Lap 4 he and Kev get tight in the T2/3 esses. Branodon pinches down on Keva bit and I tap Kev into the gravel. I limp along waiting for him. Not on TS for a change and I don;t knwo if he is in the race or exited to the garage. He gives me the go chat and I resume but am way back in 12th. I rip the best laps I can and manage to finish 7th.

Thought I had a shot at 2nd overall til my indiscretion. oh well fun none the less!

Thansk for racing boys it was excellent! VEry evry pleased about the lack of contact in the opening laps and certainlt L1 T1! well done guys the ARC friday event continues to set the bar for great CLEAN racing.
