Well that was fun... :)

Qualifying: Pole. Some setup advice from Eric meant that was able to get the S60 handling like I wanted it to in practice, and the result was a comfortably fast car.

Race 1: I got a great start, and managed to hold the lead every single lap except for the pit stops. I got some pressure from Jesper, but I was able to keep him behind me and take the win. :D

Race 2: Another good start, but I was held up in 5th for a small while. I eventually made it into the lead by virtue of my car's predictable handling and good corner speed. However, Jesper being Jesper, he wouldn't back down and kept within a second or so of me all race, even through the pit window. We had a great fight for the lead, getting wheel-to-wheel in places and testing the multiple lines around The Glen's corners. I managed to keep myself in front again, and happily notched up another win.

I'm over the moon at my first back-to-back victory on RaceDepartment, and I reckon this was one of the best Friday (Saturday) events I have ever competed in. Same time next week guys, Capiche?

Sorry Hugo and the other runners last night for my no-show:(. My family decided to go out for dinner for my Nephews 12th Birthday and we went straight from school, so I wasn't able to get online to say I couldn't race. Also the forum seemed to be down when I got home to make my apologies. I hope the racing was good last night :good:.

Next week I'll be there.

Again sorry to Hugo for not leaving a message b4 the event started.

I couldn't get Multiplayer to stop crashing on Windows 7, so installed on an XP partition and set it all up, but by the time I'd done so it was too late to sign up *sighs*

Hopefully I'll get to race with you all next week - can't seem to find a fix for the Windows 7 issue though.

Many thanks Hugo and RD for a very enjoyable event. My first go with Minis and what great fun it was.

I was almost embarassed to drive past the 3 car pile up after the Corkscrew on the last lap of the 1st race to claim 9th. Previously, I had some great fun racing with Bjorn during that race.

During 2nd Race I suffered a glitch where half way through (and running a proud 13th and last) everybody else disappeared from my screen. I carried on regardless to the end but as suspected I was classified as DNF, Ho Hum... This happened to me at Okayama in the F Masters 2 weeks ago, again during 2nd race at about the same time of the evening. And a random Nvidia screen freeze last night during practice and last week at Istanbul during 2nd race.

I am currently changing from Nvidia (8800GT) to ATI (4870 I think a friend is lending me) this week so hope my problems will end.

Anyway, I love the Minis and hope to join you again next time if I get my rig sorted, thanks again.
