Thanks for organizing this one guys!

I always very very much enjoy racing these cars. But it does seem like the Formula Masters are not extremely popular. Nevertheless I hope RD will keep on hosting these races in the club events. Maybe we should look at different sort of tracks to attract more people. I remember for example that for the Monaco race it was no problem at all to attract a full grid... Or maybe it's just the time of the year?

Hey Guys!

What a weird race yesterday night. One car was extremly "popping around". I couldn't focus on the race, because i was afraid to hit the "ghost-car". Finally the car disappeared, but than came mr. Rooij smoking me out!! Amazing how long your car held this, until last lap (gnif-gnif)

This was my first race with the Formula, and it feels great - easy to drive - good handling.

Unfortunately I did make some changing in my carsetup for the second race, but this occurs oversteering.

I'm happy with my time. From 1;52 (5 to slow) i did make a laptime of 1;49 (YES!! finally)

Please i want more of these races!! Thans to my friend Bjornos for making this up.

@ Eric, did you use the correct driver for youre Graphic card? Never use a drive above 185.xxx for the Nvidia gForce.

I had no problems with the 182.xxx

Now i use the Nvidia card as second one for the Physicx and Ati for Rendering. In one word; WOW!!!

You should do this to, because it makes racing more fun. I never seen the details of textures like before

Thanks for your advice Stefan, I use 182.06 from Asus website.
I wonder if their other software (Smart Doctor and GamerOSD) may be giving occasional problems. Thing is, my setup is usually rock solid - many many hours on open servers in F3000.
I am considerring upgrading my Graphics Card soon, but as always, money is short at the moment.
Your setup sounds interesting - I assume it requires 2 PCIE slots. My MBoard only has 1 slot.
In the meantime, I think I will do a complete re-install of everything including OS (XP pro 32 bit) over the weekend.
Thanks again Stefan

I understand the Golden rules: YES

My 1st time in Minis so a couple of nooby questions please:

It is a long race, are there mandatory Pit Stops?
If yes, what has to be changed?
If not, in your experience, will the Mini tyres last for 1 hour?
I think they take 37 laps fuel around Laguna, that should be enough surely for no stop?

Oh, and do I have to download a skin pack or can I use default skin?

Apologies if this information is available somewhere else, I cannot find it anywhere.

Look forward to tonight, I'll be the guy at the back....

having done plenty of the mini friday races, i can say, yes you can run these for 1hr without stopping, but the tyres will be pretty shot towards the end. and with the long pitlane here i would predict the winner will not pit.

@ Eric, this is a common problem with Nvidia cards, it happens just randomly. Sometimes i don't have it for 1-2 months, then it may occur 3-4 times in a few days. Really random i think.

THANKS Bjorn, RD and all raced! That was an amazing event. Driving these cars is great fun. Had some little and short battles against Michael, Murat abi, and Bjorn. Clean and great racing :)
