Just curious, are there any lap times (quali, race,...) published for club events?

Yes - Go to Rankings - Recent Events and click on this event.

You can also click on a drivers ranking and get to the race results.

Best Race Lap times for each driver are displayed along with finishing position and laps completed.

Great racing all last night ! Ty all who attended and especially Admin and RD for setting this up.

I have to say, that I am not sure about the rolling start in this event. The reason is simple, almost every racing event on RD are with standing start, which of course means, that there is not enough experience with rolling start here. As demonstration of it, I share here some experience from one of the race with rolling start here (it was Camaro Cup @ Puebla Oval - Monday July 12th 2010). I think, that pictures are better for this, so lets see how it works:

This race event was choosed only for demonstration, I don't want to blame anyone for what happend there, that is not the point of this post! If I have to be honest, I don't feel very comfortable about the rolling start and made some little mistakes in that event too, so as I said before, problems with rolling start can be expected, because of the lack of the race with rolling start here.

Well, and that was on the oval track, so how this will look in the Spa? I have no idea, but I think, that after the "formation" lap, many cars will have minor or even major damage, which I think, is really not something, what we want in enduro event.

I think, that there is 3 options how to solve this problem:

1) don't do nothing and we will hope, that the formation lap will be smooth
2) change the start from rolling to standing start. Personaly I would vote for this one, because I think, that there is no reason to have rolling start at Spa. Probably it will be more dangerous that standing start...so many cars, so close and at full speed to Eau Rouge...
3) organize a little practice of the rolling start

So now I want to know, what you think about it :)

And sorry for the longer post

Great track,

Race 1: started 3rd,finished 2nd. Had wrong tyres at the front, changed automaticly to medium when next session(race) started.
Didnt checked that, grrr.Had a bit of understeer because of that first half of the race, second half was ok.

Race 2: Lost again a few places at the start but quickly got them back, but at the end of lap 1 i bumped someone(think Fellows),and waited on him.
He had to let the whole field go by before rejoining,i must have fel asleep because i didnt put my foot emediatly down as he passed me,lol.
Witch costed me another spot putting me in p17,still managed to finish 4th after a great race.

Thx for the great race guys, and the admin for the event,cy all next time.

Hi all.

Grats to podium R1 & R2 and all others to.

Q 12th

R1: In T1 I got out on the grass and went in without lookin and Rutger hit me, Sorry for that my fault.

When the car pointed in the right direction again, I was at P18. a little too much throttle, drove off the track too many times. Finished on P12or13

R2: This time I got a small hit in the rear in T2 and spun around. P19

This time I was a little more focused and finished P10

Compliments to all drivers, i had some great and fair battles here and there.

Thanks Hugo and RD for a great event :)

Hope to see you All Next Time At The PSC:):)
