Race 1:

Had a bad Q, 13th.

You had it bad... i mucked up, got a puncture and still Q18 from the 19 qualifiers.

Hooked up the start perfect, probably my best for a long time and went screaming down the middle. cautios into turn1. race was good, stayed close to a few battles. had a wee incident with Simon and Frank when then came together and I had no where to go. let Frank repass - who then promptly unplugged his pedals to allow me back past. (oops!) Fin 11th.

Race 2:
Qual 16th/17th ish... cannot remember as i've slept since the race
Not quite as a good a start but decent enough. Gave Adrians bumper a wee kiss on lap one at the middle chicane as we all bunched up (while Jamie was screaming brake brake brake over TS) sorry bud - i'd misjudged quite how slow everyone had come to expecting you to be back on the gas again. after a wee mistake got separated from cars ahead and cars behind so just got into a rhythmn.

pit stop went well. made up one place on Frank... but soon lost it again.

past the time for the last 10 laps with no one to attack or defend against... until last lap.

hadn't really noticed quite how much Yuri was catching me. when i went to respond i found the rubber was not there. went wide in t1 and this put him on my tail. at the mid chicane (not my favorite corner) yuri made his move. with tyres struggling and no traction to attack back i completed the race in 11th place.... deja vu anyone?

overall:
2 races where i improved on my starting place on a track i really need more laps on. Great racing from all and thanks for organising!

Oh right I had almost repressed how I unplugged my pedals already :-P I ripped my wheel off it's stand, and as I was screaming at my wife to help me reattach it. she tripped over the cable to the pedals and unplugged them.

Low 34's and consistency with a good pit stop will bring a good result I think. 33.9xx MAY be possible but highly unlikely

Chris, given the track i think that 39-40 will be race pace.

Chris, given the track i think that 39-40 will be race pace.

yah its going to be about line and passing more than outright lap speed in the race for most of us.

tight racing should be expected here for sure.
