(late) race report

Late, I know, but good to keep the habit:

Qualified P14 and finished 6th (best ever!). In my previous two races, I qualified far back enough to watch and avoid turn 1 carnage, but this time, being in them middle of pack, I was in the thick of it and nearly sh@t my pants. Fun stuff!

A few small battles and few stupid mistakes and spins prevented potentially one or so higher placements. I didn't load the correct setup and was bottoming out in the first esses complex, losing 15-20kph before a pretty long straight which over thirty laps cost me some. Overall though, I'm again happy to have finished.

I'm still amazed at how fast you guys are. I seriously felt like I was in a different car.

Thanks all for a great race.

I managed to attend to race 2. Had a very bad start, losing 5 pos but i managed to regain them. Had a lot of fun batles but when i went for the pits it all went wrong.
I had a S&G for pitlane speeding. So as i went the next lap to the pits, i crash into a wall losin front bumper, FR tire and suspension damage:D. And i got another S&G :)). I go the next lap back to the pits and i somehow crash again and fall somewhere off track and i was stuck. So i had to quit. :(
Anyway thank you all for the race i had a very good time! :)

ran some laps for the first time in the Volvo. Not a bad car.. Cannot post the setup online for some reason. I'll try again later.:struggle:

ran 34.5-7 all day long though so it was consistent at least. prolly consistently low but what the heck it's all I got for now.:love-over:

rumor has it that the 33's is where ya wanna be for a podium on speed.:alien2:

In my case I'll take a little luck:wink2:

Great fun in the BMS tonight, never driven it before and probably never will again lol.

But tonight, 2 races and fastest BMS of all!!!!!!

Cheers Simon and RD and a special thank you to Simon for suggesting the car it was hillarious!!

Wow! what a race....i'm all wet of sweating. Pretty nasty when swaet drops into your eyes :(

Nice going on, on this crazy track!

I wanted to win some time to change only the front tires - and yes i make the same mistake on the Magny Course - the car was almost undrivable. Very unstabile on the back..

C 'U next time
