Race #3 (CHINA)

Appeal #1 (GhostSpeed Racing Team)

WC Race Director's Post-Race Checks incident #14#16#23#24
Drivers involved: Rob van Starkenburg / Phillipp Puschke

Verdict:
The appellant's facts are accepted. The 5-second time penalty to be added to Philipp Puschke's final race time is removed. In addition, the Court of Appeal has decided to reduce the 1.0 licence points penalty handed to Philipp Puschke to a 0.5 licence points penalty.
We are evidencing a trend of incidents where the alleged incident victim does not make any efforts or takes any measures to avoid an otherwise avoidable colission. When two drivers are battling for position, both drivers are responsible for avoiding a colission. This Court expects drivers to act accordingly to improve the league's general racing experience, and considers this factor when analysing appeals.

Appeal #2 (Faster Than Speed)

WC Race Director's Post-Race Checks incident #17
Drivers involved: Eduard Mallorqui / Philipp Puschke

Verdict:
The appellant's facts are partially accepted. The time-penalty of 15 seconds to be added to Eduard Mallorqui's final race time is reduced to a penalty of 5 seconds to his final race time. The appellant's request to have the penalty of 1.0 licence points reduced to 0.5 licence points was rejected by the Court of Appeal.

Drivers involved: Gergo Baldi / Jernej Simoncic

Verdict:

The Court of Appeal has, however, decided to remove the 0.5 licence points penalty handed to Gergo Baldi as the WC Race Director had assigned the penalty due to the driver receiving two Official Warnings. The Official Warning handed to Gergo Baldi for incident #3 was removed by this Court (Appeal #3).
