I've always rev matched. But when I would be in the middle of a turn and not needing to accelerate (I know, giving time away) I would be completely off the throttle. Staying on the throttle through the turn helped me with the Fabcar and the seemingly random spins.

In the real world we call this slight throttle application a balanced throttle. It's one of the first things an instructor will teach you should you have one sit next to you on a track day or if you do a driving experience.
