F1 2013 Question about custom setups for classic edition...HELP!!!

Can someone tell me why I can't use my custom setups when qualifying using the classic cars?

I only have the option for 1-shot qualifying, and to make it worse I can't even use my own setup, I have to select a 'quick' setup option!...WHY???

Another thing, i'm on legend difficulty and even if you use a 'quick' setup, you are always last on the grid, well tell a lie, I managed to get to 8th, but still.

Why cant we use custom setups that we have already made for that specific track beforehand?

Maybe because the setups you have were designed for modern F1 cars.

The Classics being a whole different ball game, which in reality would have their own setups, for whatever adjustments that were available at the time

I doubt that much 'simulation' has gone into the Classics, not as much as the F1 2013 cars anyway.
