Question about career

Got bored and started the career, not bad so far but how do you make the gt ex series shorter? 45 laps is too long. If I change the laps in the series.ini, the career is blacked out. Anyone know how to make the laps shorter?

You have to change the laps in event.ini files for each race. Also, I find it works better if I copy the whole text in the file and paste to new text document, the delete the original event.ini file and rename the new text doc to event.ini

Series 27, I change event 1 laps from 35 to 10, fire up career, start button blacked out. I don't get what i'm doing wrong.

This works for me. Exit Assetto Corsa
1. After changing the number of laps, copy all of the text in event.ini and paste to new text document such as wordpad.
2. save new text document.
3. Delete original event.ini file
4. Rename new text document to event.ini
5. Startup Assetto Corsa and try again.

I think this copy/paste thing is not necessary.
You have to change the laps in three chapters:
[RACE]
[GROOVE]
[SESSION_2]

Hi, cannot reduce laps number, race becomes unplayable as start engine button is no more possible to be pressed after i modify laps number. Even GROOVE part is always 0-10-30, for every race, so I didn't modify it. Any help??

Hi, do I have to change the number of Laps 3 times in RACE; GROOVE and SESSION?
GROOVE is always 0-10-30 in every series and after trying to modify laps number engine start button is no pressable so cannot start the race. Any help please?
