just wondering, if I get my rating to over 3.00 will I be able to run in other events? or am I stuck for the week?

Promotions were yesterday so if you didn't get promoted then you didn't meet the minimum requirement to promote to the next level. What is your current license?

This is how the promotions work:

iRacing will let rookies fast track to a D license once they have met their minimum participation requirements(MPR) and achieved a saftey rating(SR) of 3.0. There will still be a manual promotion service wide at the end of each 13th week.

iRacing will also allow you to race in the next higher license events as long as your safety rating is at least 4.0 in your current license.

only picked it up yesterday, just wondered if I get MPR above 3 if I have to wait till next week to run additional events mines 2.8 atm

You'll promote from Rookie once you reach 3.0 and have run 4 races this season.

From them on, you need 3.0 at the end of the season or 4.0 anytime to promote once you've completed your participation requirement (4 races or TTs at your license or above).

When you promote you'll be able to race D class events immediately.
