The next DLC for Project CARS 2 has been revealed - check out the leaked trailer for the upcoming Ferrari Essentials DLC...

Thanks to a bit of finger trouble over on the Xbox Store, it looks like sim racing fans have had an unexpected early reveal of the next scheduled DLC release for Project CARS 2. Inadvertently revealing the 'Ferrari Essentials' DLC trailer earlier than expected, we had the opportunity to take a look at the eight new cars and two new circuits set to be added to Project CARS 2 in the near future.

Swiftly removed from the Xbox store webpage once the error had been recognised, you can catch the trailer at the head of this article if you missed it first time around...

Ferrari Essentials DLC Contents:
  • 1956 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta
  • 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa
  • 1978 Ferrari 512 BB LM
  • 1987 Ferrari F40
  • 1995 Ferrari F355 Challenge
  • 2014 Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta
  • 2015 Ferrari FXX K
  • 2017 Ferrari F12tdf
  • Mugello Circuit
  • Fiorano Circuit

No release date or pricing guide has been revealed by Slightly Mad Studios at this stage, however more details are expected to become known in the very near future.

Project CARS 2 is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Where does this confirm this track will be a free addition to the game? That's my only question!
Go figure.
But, ok... just for you and your 4 buddies who "agree" with you:
If this is the last (paid) DLC and this track (Interlagos) is obviously still in developement - what else can it really be then free add-on in one of the updates ?
PC2 gets a lot of negativity, but It is a nice game which you can play using VR and just relax and chill. Then when I want to be serious I go back on my SIM games. But PC2 does have a place in this world..........
Wish I know the names of two guys who disagree with this.
The guy didn't said absolutely nothing bad or wrong about any sim/game out there.
If it means anything to you buddy... I feel as same as you. C'mon now those jumpy two, don't miss me too. :D

Dude -_-
Ferrari Pack is the last DLC from the Season Pass, yep. But nobody (but the devs) knows IF there will be another DLC, or maybe even a new Season Pass OR Interlagos won't even happen because of other reasons, nobody knows.
I just want to prevent this "We'll get Interlagos for free" to become a fact because it's not a fact, it's not even confirmed that it will be in the game at any point, only that they have the laserscan and started to work on it.

In the first alpha builds of PC1 for example you could drive Mugello but not in the final version. Things happen, go figure :D

Love the F40 but man the F50 never gets any love. Its always left out of most racing games.
At least it is available in the gt1 category, although if I remember well it did not raced because other gt1 were going with better specs the next season, something like that. I don't know whether it's competitive in pcars2 (it should not be against the mercedes and mclaren I assume).

Ferrari did not agree with the homologation rules that allowed the Porsche 911 GT1 to compete so they canceled the program. They sold the 3 chassis that were completed for testing and destroyed the remaining tubs of the 3 other cars that were planned for production.
