Problems with login?

If I try to log into the Forum directly, my username and password needs to be re-entered each time. It won't remember my settings.
However, if I go to the RD site main page, my details are remembered and I can then enter the forum with my log in already remembered.

I have tried deleting cookies etc, makes no difference.

Have the same problem just with RD but only from my PC at work and not from my PC back home....

Krister, do you use the same browser both at home as at your work?

@Warren: did you remove the entire browser history including cookies? Do you have the "delete browsing history on exit" unticked? That did it for me.

I am now on another pc then my own and its impossible for me (and Simon) to reproduce the problems.

Yes I do - Firefox (latest version on both PCs)

Funny thing is I have no problems with other forums remember my login on my work PC. Just RD.

I'll have a deeper look at it next week.

@Warren: did you remove the entire browser history including cookies? Do you have the "delete browsing history on exit" unticked? That did it for me.

Yes Bram, I deleted everything and have that box unticked.
Strangely, if I enter the forum via the home page, my log in is remembered, but not if I try to go straight to the forum.
However, today I noticed that I was automatically logged out after about 20 to 30 mins on the forum.

All other websites are working normally. I'm using IE 8.

I'll have another go at deleting cookies and history and see what happens.

It looks like this may have done the trick for me. I had been deleting everything via IE8 Tools, but after removing everything with CCleaner, it seems ok for now.

I'm starting to suspect that IE8 may have a few bugs.

After having deleted the RD cookies and have them created again it now works.
