Please tell me the best setup to buy for 30 quid.

Everything about this game confuses me, well the store does. Do I get it from Steam or from them direct etc - what happens when I get duplicate items and so on.

Basically, I want someone with experience (if you have the time) to tell me the best setup to buy for 30 quid. So I get the most things to play with and try. I like Le Mans type cars and DTM, but im not locked in on that if there are better out there.

Cheers,

Go to the raceroom shop
https://www.raceroomstore.com/shop_en/list_page?cat=24
and buy 5000 vRP's for €35 (which is a 30% discount)

Then go to the store
http://game.raceroom.com/r3e/store/
and buy a pack with a lot of tracks, like an old DTM or ADAC GT experience, and the European track pack. Double content will be subtracted from the price. Then buy some cars or car packs that you like, and keep some vrp's in reserve for things you want tomorrow.

You can also buy a minimum now and sit on your remaining vrp's until a sale comes along.

Remember, you never pay double for duplicated content in packs you buy when you use the vrp's in the store (unlike when you buy at Steam).

Great advice, that works out at £27.99 so you are under budget.
Remember you can test drive the cars so you can find out what ones you fancy.
Then follow Erik's suggestions.re tracks because it is sound.

The 2014 ADAC GT Masters Pack for €9.99 (less than 8 quid) from here is a steal: https://www.raceroomstore.com/shop_en/adac-gt-masters-experience-2014-dlc-downloadable-content.html

Includes 8 official ADAC GT Masters tracks of the season 2014
6 cars from the 2014 Championship season, including the Audi R8 LMS ultra, BMW Z4 GT3, Chevrolet Camaro GT, Corvette Z06.R GT3, McLaren MP4-12C GT3, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3. 19 liveries.

Any cars/tracks included in this pack will be discounted from the cost of any other pack that you buy, such as the GT3 pack and/or European Track Pack (both also good buys).

NB: You don't need vRP to buy it

I understand the confusion but once your in youll get it.
Like someone mentioned above, Buy a base pack first.
Like adac 14 for 9.99, Then the moment you got that whenever you buy an item with vRP ( buy a large pack for further rebate ) any item you purchase or pack that has repeating content you get a massive price reduction
For example lets say you buy DTM 13 from steam for very cheap.
If you would want to buy Dtm 15 in game with Vrp it would take into consideration that you already own all of the tracks and since you already own a previous version of that car you get again a rebate on that.

Right now i would recommend getting Adac 14 as your base. Then buys vrp. With that Vrp get the European track pack ( will be very cheap since you will already be owning most of the tracks from that pack and it now includes Nordscheilfe. After that i would recommend getting the Gt3 pack as you will get rebate on most cars ( the one that are on adac 14 ) or test drive and see what car you really like and purchase only that car if it was part of the adac14 and you want the gt3 version it will be cheap ( like 75vrp i think ).
Then once again as someone mentioned above you can test drive any car for free, Play around and see if you like the GTO or the G5 and buy pack or only the car you prefer. I would stress that you should test them. For example i purchased the G5 pack but really only ever drive the Zackspeed because its my favorite of the pack so there was no need to buy the whole pack :)

BTW if you like DTM, then the DTM 2013 Experience pack is also a pretty good buy:

http://game.raceroom.com/store/pack/dtm-experience-2013

3 DTM cars plus 22 liveries, 9 tracks

Cost: 1399 vRP (remember to buy a vRP pack if going this route, to get cheaper vRPs)

The ADAC 2014 pack when bought direct through the link I mentioned above is the better deal, though, and the GT cars are probably a better starting point than the DTM cars.

Or get both that and the ADAC 2014 pack, but buy the ADAC pack first, as any tracks already owned will be deducted from the cost of the DTM pack.
