Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel has claimed pole position for the United States Grand Prix, having set a time of 1m36.338s on Pirelli’s P Zero White medium tyre, which is nominated along with the P Zero Orange hard tyre this weekend. It was the 44th pole of the newly-crowned champion’s career and his eighth of the season.

That's a Red Bull 1-2 pretty much certain then! Barring any accidents or mistakes.

I predict it'll finish as it starts, with Lotus up there with RB.

Mercedes being forced into 2 stops because they munched their tyres.

The margin of the top 2 to the rest is pretty big again. Are RBR still developing their '13 car, does anyone know?

Considering how close RB are letting the Sky F1 cameras get to the car this weekend, I would imagine they've not added anything new to their package at this race.
Most teams seem a lot less secretive around the cameras this weekend, which makes me think that the 2013 development has more or less stopped.
