thanks

you wuld need an edited CAM fle. It would not cause mis-matches if its been made but I wouldn't know for sure if there is one. Theres one at no grip for f3000 and fbmw so there is every chance its out there.

OK, you need to change the Ferrari.cam file in your team folder, not the defviews.cam
i settled on this for ACTION CAM:

LocalCam=ACTIONCAM
{
Fov=(80.00000, 80.000000)
Clear=FALSE
Color=(164, 218, 249)
ClipPlanes=(0.1000, 1500.000000)
LODMultiplier=(1.000000)
Size=(1.000000, 1.000000)
Center=(0.500000, 0.500000)
MipmapLODBias=(0.000000)
Flags1=(0)
Flags2=(0)
RadiusLimits=(0.000000, 0.000000)
OrientationRate=(999.000000, 999.000000, 999.000000)
PositionOffset=(0.000000, -0.14000, 0.2500)
OrientationOffset=(-0.01000, 0.000000, 0.000000)
Radius=(0.000000)
}

Those cams were for the default cockpit view to reduce the FOV to 40deg for extreme widescreen setups (triple heads).

The files as far as I know where edited versions of the original CAM files and where placed in "GameData\Teams" of the online install, eg "\Gamedata\Teams\F3000\F3000.cam".

They didnt cause mismatches so I figure thats the correct place to put them.

The files are here if you want to compare them to the originals http://forum.racedepartment.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=420

I did a Little more investigating and this is what I got.

Using the method above I tried raising the Catrham action cam and failed. With the online install all the cam files for the original Race07 cars Are loaded from the steam GCFs and can't be changed.

I lowered the DBRS9 cam and raced offline succesfully from under the car looking through the hole in the front splitter. (I'll remember that one when I next record some video :)) But unfortunately I got kicked from online play.
