WRC Generations Need to Set Up An Account to Run WRC Generations! WTH?

Just purchased WRCG from Steam and booted up for the first time. One of the first things I'm presented is a pop-up screen REQUIRING me to open a "MyNacom" account (that would link to my Steam Account)!

I REALLY hate when there's some requirement to open an online account when all I expect to do is play OFFLINE ( ie - single player). It's enough to make me consider requesting a refund and be done with it!

...And why isn't this requirement mentioned in any of the reviews?

What do you guys think of this requirement? Isn't it enough that we need to go thru a Steam account to purchase and access our sims nowadays? Now this publisher wants to add another layer to that?

FYI. Got around it by CNTRL-ALT-DELing out. Then started the sim up again and it bypassed any mention of having to open this account

That said, it was a royal PITA to set up separate wheel and peds (each in their own USB port), but I finally stumbled onto it.

Piss poor decision by Nacon. Should have been a skip button at least. I ctrl-alt-del'ed out and didn't see it on restart.

It’s the same with most games now… Nacon is doing nothing new/ different…

On PC you can just skip the login. Worked no problem for me

I was able to skip that by hitting the "back" button.

Skipping account creation is indeed possible, but they surely making a bit hard to see.
