Max and Bernie have come up with some idea`s to survive the financial crisis.

Bernie wants to give the teams the oppertunety to put a third car on the grid.( read = means more cost for the existing teams ) and give the F1 more chance of surviving.
On the other hand, i think Max Mosley has a more realistic plan.
He wants to fill the starting grid with GP2 cars.
They need to be modified a liitle bit of course to keep the speed difference to a minimum.
The idea from Max is based on the F1 serie`s in the 50`s.
There the FIA hat the choice to enter GP2 cars as well.
Also the idea for three cars whas valid at that time.
Al the teams signed the contract back then with the FIA.
This contract has expired years ago so now there are other options to explore for survival of the F1.

I say , Max has come up with a nice old plan.:highfive:
It`s been a long time that there have been 24 or 26 cars on the grid of a F1 grand prix.

It would be great to see more cars on the grid, but to do this would cost a hell of a lot of money for the GP2 teams. Getting the cars to a level where they could even compete with the likes of Force India will take an awful lot of work. Also what happens to GP2? (sorry not really up to date with GP2 teams and schedules!)

Then why not just drive GP2 cars only, thats cheap too compared to F1 :(

Ridiculous plans again. What might help is to give teams a fixed budget. And then not a budget that only mclaren, ferari and the other big boys can pay but all the teams.

Take the lowest possible budget
